Terms & Conditions

1) ANY PERSON ENTERING THE CATTERY DOES SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. IF YOU ARE ACCOMPANIED BY CHILDREN YOU MUST KEEP THEM UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES. There are signs at the Cattery that specify which areas you may enter, but if in doubt please ask one of the staff and they will be pleased to advise you.

2) FEES All fees are charged by the day, to include the day of arrival and the day of departure. Fees are payable either in advance or on departure as agreed at the time of booking. The total fees for the agreed amount of time must be paid in full even if the pet is collected early, unless agreed otherwise at the time of booking. There is a surcharge of £ 5 for all bank holidays except on Christmas Day and Boxing Day where it is double the normal rate. EXTRA SERVICES will be priced separately and added to the final account and includes a surcharge of £ 1 per day per chalet every time the heat lamps are in use!

3) DEPOSITS

(Christmas period £30 deposit is required). Paid at the time of booking (Deposits are non-refundable.) PAYMENTS. The payment for boarding fees and other services may be made by cheque, cash or credit card.

4) VACCINATIONS All

Cats accepted for boarding must be accompanied by a current Vaccination Certificate and must be fully inoculated against Feline Enteritis, Feline Leukaemia, Feline Calicivirus and Feline Herpes Virus.

5) VETS FEES

If the Cattery is liable for the vets fees the fees will be paid direct to the vet in charge. If this is not the case any Veterinary fees incurred during the boarding period may be billed directly to you by your vet, or sometimes, may be billed by our vet if for some reason it is not possible to use your vet, but it is the responsibility of the client and must be paid at the time of settling the boarding fees.

Whenever necessary, the client agrees to have his/hers cat/cats being examined and treated by a veterinary surgeon.

6) BELONGINGS

The cattery supplies beds and bedding but you are welcome to bring your cats own bedding from home, unfortunately we cannot guarantee its safe return. All belongings left on the premises are left entirely at the client’s risk. Any bedding and sleeping beds must be in a clean and parasite free condition. Any belongings that are soiled during the boarding period may have to be destroyed. All carriers, beds, bedding etc. must be clearly marked with the client’s name and the cat’s name.

7) WELFARE

Every care will be given to the welfare and safety of all cats boarded, but all cats are boarded entirely at the client’s risk. If your cat passes away whilst in care of the Cattery, we will do our utmost to have the body frozen so that you can make any decisions on your return, as to Cremation, Burial and Post Mortems. Unfortunately, the cost if any will have to be added to your bill.

8) Copyright

The copyright of all photographs displayed on the cattery web site belong solely to Arlington Cattery. All rights reserved.

9) If I (client/cat owner) fail to collect my cat(s) within 14 days of the due date of collection, I give the owner of the above business the authority to re home my cat(s) without further reference to me, provided that I have not made arrangements over the telephone or in writing for the boarding period to be extended. I (client/cat owner) undertake to abide by these terms and conditions on every occasion my cat(s) is/are boarded on these premises.

10) General

The cattery reserves the right to give cats flea/worm treatment if necessary on owners’ expense.

The cattery reserves the right to separate cats from the same household if necessary.

Please notice that female cats must be spayed and tom cats neutered to be enabled to board the cattery!
